Children/Family/Youth Service
Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me…”
Mark 9:37
This is such a beloved verse of scripture and emphasizes the inclusivity of children and youth in our church worship services and the life of the church.
We hope to see all children, grandchildren, friends and family members joining us for Sunday service at 9 am as we honor the Church New Year and our love and care of children and youth. As the Advent One Theme focuses on HOPE; Hope for a bright future which includes our youngest newest generations.
In God’s way of Hope,

December 22 is the last Sunday in Advent and hopefully we have been experiencing a measure of Hope, Peace, Joy and now LOVE in a spiritual way as we prepare for Christmas. In our adult education session, we talked about the difference between Joy and Happy. Where being happy is more of a moment of receiving a gift or honor or award. Yet, it can be fleeting and easily forgotten. Joy runs deeper within as a more spiritual sense of gratitude for the blessings in our lives not just for self but for others, for nature, for God’s love, forgiveness, compassion and light. For as we move into Christmas, we are celebrating a great JOY! God’s LOVE manifested in the birth of the Christ child. Jesus shows us how to humanly spread God’s love, light and joy to others.
