GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH

VISITOR INFORMATION
 

• We are delighted you are interested in Grace East Concord, and we look forward to meeting you.
   

• We are all about connecting with people. When we pass the peace, we pass the peace to everyone in the church regardless of whether you are visiting for the first time or have been a member for years.
   

• Parking is on the street. There is also a parking lot across the street from the church next to the park.
   

• Anyone with mobility issues may be let off in the driveway in front of the church. In addition to the stairs, there is a ramp leading into the church. An usher will be glad to assist you. We ask that you do not park in the driveway so it will be available for emergency vehicles should they be needed.
   

• You will find ushers in the narthex and to the right of the ramp entrance.  They will greet you with a bulletin for the service and provide any other information you may need.
   

• There are no assigned seats or pews. You may sit wherever you feel comfortable.
   

• In addition to the bulletin the usher will give you, you can follow the service in the red Book of Common Prayer and the blue Hymnal in your pew.

 

• The numbers of the hymns are in the bulletin and on the hymn boards at the front of the church.  The hymns with an S- before the number are in the very front of the hymnal.
   

• Baptized Christians of any denomination are welcome to receive communion. If you prefer, you may come to the communion rail and cross your arms across your chest to receive a blessing instead of communion.
   

• Children of all ages are heartily invited! We offer a Sunday School program and a nursery program. An Usher can direct you to the Parish Hall that is connected to the church for those programs. The first Sunday of each month is Family Sunday. There is no Sunday School or Nursery that week. The service is planned to actively include the participation of children and there is a children’s sermon.
   

• You are welcome to join us for coffee hour in the Parish Hall after the service. We look forward to seeing you!
