Support Rally for Concord’s Homeless

Urge Real Solutions to Homelessness, Not Making Homelessness Illegal

WHEN: Tuesday, May 14th, 3:00pm-3:30pm
WHERE: City Plaza, Concord, NH, N. Main Street between Park and Capitol Streets, in front of the State House
WHY: Recent law enforcement actions have been taken to evict homeless citizens from their encampments.  Members of the Concord homeless community and their friends will gather to oppose such recent evictions – which are essentially making homelessness illegal and providing no alternative residency.  Those gathered will urge lawmakers and community leaders to focus on real solutions to end homelessness, and provide real alternatives in the short term.
