Take-a-Tote Needs

Our shelves are low on Nutrigrain bars, fruit rollups, or similarly packaged snacks without nuts. Why not come to the back room during Coffee Hour and see our operation?

Take-a-Tote Needs

Highlighting Macaroni and Cheese this week, either in a microwaveable container (usually sold 4 or 6 in a package) or a box containing individual packets (usually 6 or 18 per box).

Ramen noodles can be purchased individually or by the carton. Fruit cups in packs of 4 or 6 are also needed. Applesauce and pudding cups are also packed.

Take a Tote Needs

Please look for Maruchan brand Instant Lunch/Cup of Soup:  These are micro-waveable containers costing about 28 cents.  They look like a Styrofoam cup, not like a can of soup which is too heavy for the totes.  Help us stock up!

Take-a-Tote

Please shop for packages of cheese-filled crackers.  Austin, Keebler and Ritz all sell wrapped cracker sandwiches in packages of 8.  Larger boxes by Austin are available at Walmart.  Always check food labels (no peanut products).

School vacation is coming soon. We will send home 1 pound bags of rice to help stretch meal options during the Christmas break. Target, Wal-Mart and the Dollar Stores are good places to find this size.

Christmas Cards from Take-a-Tote

Take-a-Tote donor cards are available for purchase throughout Advent in the Parish Hall.  Each card is $10 which is equivalent to one tote’s food contents.  Buy several for your “hard-to-shop for” friends and relatives.  It’s the perfect stocking stuffer or Christmas card. Funds raised
go to the continued support of our Take-a-Tote ministry at Grace.
