For the coming week, please purchase Nutrigrain bars or small boxes of raisins.
In order to fill 25 totes each week, we use 25 boxes of cereal, 25 mac and cheese containers, 50 fruits/pudding/applesauce cups, and the list goes on. Always check food labels (no peanut products) and expiration dates.
We need one delivery volunteer on Thursday mornings for 30 minutes every 5th week. Duties include meeting before 10am, loading plastic bins and driving to Mill Brook School. Unload bags, collect last week’s empty totes and return with the bins. Want to make a difference? Contact Barb Ashworth: 228-0073, email.
The Take-a-Tote program is now on Facebook! This way, people unaffiliated with Grace Episcopal Church can receive updates, pictures and volunteer opportunities. Church members also will be kept aware of our flagship ministry.

Take-a-Tote is our major outreach initiative where volunteers donate, organize, pack and deliver bags of food every weekend for hungry children at the new Mill Brook School. (In the past we served the Dame School and Eastman School, now closed.)
We also serve at the Friendly Kitchen on the second Sunday of every other month.
We also support the CROP Walk, Children of Incarcerated Parents (ChIPS) and relief following the Haiti earthquake.
