Take-a-Tote needs volunteers

We are looking for a couple or two-three individuals to set up our Take-a-Tote food so it is ready for the weekly packers on Sunday.  You pick the time during the week that works well for you and we’ll provide more details.  Speak to Barb Ashworth or Janet Cumming.

Yard Sale, Part II

The remnants of the June Inside-Outside Yard Sale will be sold from our garage as part of the Brook Ridge Community-wide sale on Sat. Sept. 9.   If you would like to spend a couple hours in Hooksett helping us, please contact Barb and Will Ashworth (606-2398).  Proceeds go to the Take-a-Tote food ministry.

Movie Night: Trolls

Friday, August 18, 7:30pm

Due to the rainy weather, the movie will still be shown, but indoors. Come inside for a dry, warm and fun experience!

Free showing of the movie Trolls for families and children of all kinds! We will project the movie on the exterior of the church. Bring a blanket, chairs, food and drinks.

Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit our Take-a-Tote program to feed local hungry school children.

See the Facebook event page for details.

(We will show the movie indoors, depending on weather.)

Inside-Outside Yard Sale

Last Saturday we raised over $1,200 for our Take-a-Tote food ministry with the church-wide yard sale. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated or shopped that day! Special thanks to Barb and Will Ashworth for their leadership in organizing the day.

Inside-Outside Yard Sale

Saturday, June 17, 8am-1pm!

Proceeds benefit Take-a-Tote feeding ministry.

We need your help! Stay a few minutes after Coffee Hour today to move tables, retrieve items from attic and basement. Pricing (if you forgot to mark your stuff) begins Mon. night, 7pm. We’ll provide stickers and guidelines. Bring baked goods Friday 3-7pm. See you bright and early Saturday morning. Thanks!

Take-a-Tote needs

Our final delivery is Thursday! Thank you, shoppers, donors, drivers, packers and shelf arrangers. Please continue bringing food during the summer. Just watch for expiration dates falling in Sept. or Oct.

Take-a-Tote needs

Please look for Maruchan brand Instant Lunch/Cup of Soup: These micro-waveable containers look like a Styrofoam cup, not like a can of soup which is too heavy for the totes. Help us stock up!

Highlighting Macaroni and Cheese this week, either in a microwaveable container (usually sold 4 or 6 in a package) or a box containing individual packets (usually 6 or 18 per box).  No dinner boxes or a 7.25 oz. box that feeds 3-4 persons.

Take-a-Tote Needs

Tuna fish pouches are included in each tote. Please purchase the smaller size (2.6 oz.). “To Go” cups of tuna, two in a package, are also acceptable. You are welcome to shop for any food item pictured on the poster in the narthex. If you don’t shop much, cash donations are always welcomed.

Take-a-Tote Needs

Our shelves are low on Nutrigrain bars, fruit rollups, or similarly packaged snacks without nuts. Why not come to the back room during Coffee Hour and see our operation?
