On Sunday, we handed these out to our younger children. Each page of the Holy Eucharist in the Book of Common Prayer has a matching page with a Bible verse and a picture to color:
Our hope is to bring basic familiarity with the idea of a prayer book and an order of worship that can stick with a child as she grows up into “the full stature of Christ.”
I will, with God’s help
(Book of Common Prayer, p. 302).
When we baptize our children, we promise the raise them so that they can know about God’s deep love for them. We also hope to teach them how to return their love back to God.
For this reason, we invite you and your children, to participate in Grace Episcopal Church’s Sunday School and Youth Group programs during the 2017-2018 school year.
Hopefully you will attend our first Family Worship service on Sunday, September 17 at 10am. Afterward, you can meet our teachers and give them completed registration forms.
If you cannot be there, just bring these forms to the church anytime or download them online at http://tinyurl.com/GraceSundaySchool2017.
Due to the rainy weather, the movie will still be shown, but indoors. Come inside for a dry, warm and fun experience!
Free showing of the movie Trolls for families and children of all kinds! We will project the movie on the exterior of the church. Bring a blanket, chairs, food and drinks.
Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit our Take-a-Tote program to feed local hungry school children.
