Book Group: The New Jim Crow

Tuesday, June 20, 7-8:30pm
St. John Episcopal Church, 270 Stark Hwy, Dunbarton

The Episcopal Churches of Central NH invite you to a discussion of The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander.

Why The New Jim Crow? The Episcopal Church’s General Convention Resolution A-183 calls all parishes to read and discuss this groundbreaking book that challenges us to look at how mass incarceration and the war on drugs had perpetuated the caste system in this country.

James McKim will lead discussion that night. He attends St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Goffstown.
