ALL ARE WELCOME to join our community-wide vigil to pray and mourn those lives lost in Orlando early Sunday morning in another senseless act of violence. Our compassion extends to all who are suffering, especially to those of us who are Muslim and to those of us who are LGBT. All are welcomed, regardless of views about religion. This is a chance to share and grow our love throughout our community

2. Ramadan Dinners

Turkish Cultural Center invites you to the Ramadan Iftar Dinners to share the traditions of breaking the bread around a table for long-lasting friendship, appreciation for diversity, celebrating harmony and peace in the world.

Ramadan is the month of fasting, developing self-control and kindness, a time of comprehensive thanksgiving and charity. It’s a time of training oneself to become a better person spiritually and improving relationships with family, friends and neighbors.

When: 8pm-9:30pm on Sunday, June 19; Saturday, June 25; Sunday, June 26; Saturday, July 2; Sunday, July 3

Celebrate the diversity of the Capital Region with delicious ethnic foods, cultural performances, engaging activities and much more!

When and Where: Saturday, June 25 at 2 PM – 6 PM, State House lawn
